Louis XV Marquetery Commode stamped Peridiez Master in 1764

A fine Louis XV commode (Chest of drawers) in rosewood and palisander marquetry, opening by three rows of drawers, two in the upper row. The front is curved, the sides are slightly flared and the feet are curved. Beautiful bronze rocaille. Breche marble top.

This beautiful piece of furniture is from the Louis XV period and bears the stamp of Louis Peridiez, Master in 1764 and the hallmark JME de Jurande.

Crack on the right panel. Small detachment of marquetry on the left side at the level of the drawers.
