Our Eiffel Tower is very interesting because it represents the original version built in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for the universal exposition to celebrate the French Revolution's centennial.

At this time, the Eiffel Tower showed settings such as arcades which no longer can be seen. The decor has been lightened in 1937 by architect André Granet, of all that was not necessary for technical reasons. The arcades's galleries on the first floor were replaced by straights galleries. The campanile's shape superior level destroyed by fire in 1956 was modernised and a television's antenna added, which brought the height of the tower to 318.70 meters.
